nothing really interested me much. Transformers 2 in IMAX was (the) shit though, depending on how you looked at it. |

I Love You Man (was that this year)
The Blindside Where the Wild Things Are I liked those movies. I was nonplussed with Transformers, seeing as how Michael Bay fell back into his lust for explody blowuppy slow motion mindfuck instead of telling a fucking story and making a movie of it. Fuck Michael Bay.

i actually completely forgot Transformers 2 came out this year, even glazed over it when looking through that list of releases. it was probably cool in IMAX, but man, that was one big piece of shit, like (almost) all Michael Bay movies.

The Hangover Ong Bak 2 Antichrist Bronson Black Dynamite Drag Me To Hell A Serious Man (most of you will probably hate this) Fantastic Mr. Fox Tokyo! Gommorah I know I'm missing some stuff. Movies I still need to see: Where The Wild Things Are Avatar Up The House of The Devil 500 Days of Summer The Men Who Stare At Goats |

Inglourious Basterds
My girlfriend made me watch My Sister's Keeper, holy shit that was a sad movie. Not my top movie choice by far, but much more memorable than alot of the other garbage hollywood shits out.

Watchmen should never have been made. it did a horrible job retelling the story and cut out everything that made it interesting.
i'm going to watch the Ultimate cut today and hope for the best, but i'm sure it'll still be mediocre at best :/ Watchmen is a great graphic novel, but the movie... just bad times. Moore was right, it couldn't be done.

^I agree and disagree...
I agree that the movie didn't do the book justice but looking at it on it's own merit it was still a pretty good movie that's the problem with films based on acclaimed graphic novels similar with V For Vedetta, good movie but nowhere near as awesome as the GN. |

Watchmen, i felt the characters were hollow. there was no development whatsoever, they just threw them on screen and that was it, game on. yeah, we see the Comedian blow away his bitch in vietnam and attempt to rape Silk Spectre. but that's it.
