Damn I wish I would have been selected for jury duty, I would have sat my ass in that jury room for life until everyone agreed to charge her with some form of murder.

It's pretty obvious how things went down. I know crazy when I see it, and she is most definitely that. The real father of Caylee was probably from a one night stand with a guy Casey absolutely despises (or maybe such a slut she had no idea). And the thought of taking care of his child bothered her on a daily basis... Not to mention having a kid and living the party lifestyle does not work. Guys are less likely to be with a girl who is toting around a child from another man.

I imagine she originally intended to make it appear like an accident, but then realized that the police would never believe her and decided to bury the body and keep telling lies for as long as possible.

Not really. I honestly think the jury did not want to be a part of this case forever and they all took the easy way out and came up with a fast verdict. "Well both sides have inconsistencies, lets just slam her with the lying to officer because that's easy and lets all go back to our normal lives." They all came from a neighboring county and probably haven't been home in a while or have to travel 3 hours one way every day. No one seems to realize the jury are human beings.

Anyone hear the phrase "no body no murder?" In this case the body was so decomposed there might as well not have been a body. The only thing the body proved was she was dead. They couldn't prove how she died which is why the notch got off. It turned completely circumstantial and its hard to get a guilty verdict this way.
But anyone who followed the trial knows that she lied about everything. We all know that she knew exactly what happened to her daughter and is hiding something. I just think its sad that there was practically a murder scene in her trunk but she is going to b sleeping in her bed tonight. She's the type of person who wont stay clean for long though. My guess is that she fucking knocked her daughter out so she can party and "accidentally" over did it. Either way, i still can't believe she fucking walked. Heard an interview from one of the substitute jurors today.
He said that he would have voted not guilty for 2 main reasons:
The police couldn't say how the child died.
He believed the father (of the Casey A.)was hiding something.

The prosecution basically fucked up, they didn't have enough evidence for 1st degree murder. They fell into the public outrage instead of going with the evidence they had, circumstantial. They may have gotten her with 2nd degree but there just wasn't enough evidence for life or the death penalty.

Guarantee this isn't over though, expect them to go after her for something else or possibly her father.
Also Casey has a pr0n offer for 1 million, bet she takes it.

Lie detectors can not only be beaten, but also sometimes give off poor readings which can be mistaken as a lie.

The detectors read signs including to bloodpressure fluxuations. Even when you tell the truth, sometimes those signals still give off because you are nervous as hell.

And Flip. I searched how to make chloroform once. Its actually not as hard as you would think. There is even a youtube video about it.

the jury is human beings but coming into it to already thinking is illegal because one of the first things they ask you when you walk in is if you have a biased opinion about the case. if you do you go home if you lie and say no but still already say yes then youre fucked for lying to the court.

It is a fault of the prosecutors who were unable to prove guilt beyond reasonable doubt.

I am happy to see that some semblance of justice still exists in our court system; a system that should not ever be swayed by appeals to emotion. I am not glad that a potential murderer has been let off the hook (not that I really believe she is off the hook,) but at least an important principle has been upheld. Yes, it is true that the prosecutors proved beyond reasonable doubt that Casey is a horrible mother and an overall disgusting person ***opinion opinion opinion***, but homicide was never proven. They really fudged up, guys.

The Casey Anthony verdict happened on the heals of actual “witch burnings” that are currently taking place in the African country of Kenya. Despite mainstream media’s lack of coverage of this story, I think it’s important to bring it to your attention and draw the connections between the two. These horrific executions were the impetus to my new Godcast mix even before the Anthony trial entered my consciousness. While caught in a YouTube trap, I stumbled upon a witch burning video which reminded me that human lives are still senselessly extinguished in the name of God(s.) I wish I hadn’t seen that video, and I don’t dare share it with you now, but if you’re curious about the details of what’s happening then a simple google search will bear many results.

The gist of the story is that “Christians” in Kenya are hunting down women who are suspected of practicing witchcraft. Thanks to the power and influence of superstition, these women are targeted, rounded up, beaten into submission, placed into a pile of brush and then set aflame. Public opinion (i.e. “common sense”) along with fear of the unknown are used as justifications for these grotesque public executions. If you know about American history at all, then I don’t have to explain to you that our hands are not clean in regard to this sort of thing. “Been there…done that.”

The witch burnings in Kenya have strengthened my conviction that our judicial system absolutely did NOT fail in regard to Casey Anthony’s trial. If she is guilty of her alleged crime, then, I repeat, it is the prosecutors who failed in proving so. Sure, Nancy Grace may have been left with blue balls after soaking her stakes in gasoline for the past two months, and somewhere in Florida votes are still being counted, but I’m proud of the fact that 12 jurors made a decision based on the evidence that was provided to them rather than acting on public opinion or their feeeeeeeelings. If you’re a religious person who is bent out of shape about the outcome of this particular trial, then I recommend that you look on the bright side: If Casey Anthony is guilty then (as you understand it) she will ultimately be judged by the highest authority. Which means…(as you understand it)…she’ll burn in hell for all of eternity. Eeeek! Seriously, all you’re left to do now is show some compassion.
