pc crowd is harder to please.. they dont typically go for cutsey things like this lol.
If they release the pc version on steam on launch day, I may go that route, im startin to love steam purchased games. I just know my ps3 friends will tell me to buy this on ps3 though lol. night vision goggles is kinda tempting if you never had a pair or played with any b4..

cod singleplayer isn't a primer for multiplayer. cod1 singleplayer is what made cod famous. the depiction of battles in cod1 was like, mindblowing in 2003. the multiplayer was great too. you guys should know, since you're still playing it. the short cod4 campaign is just infinity ward being lazy, or greedy. cod1 expansions had more content than cod4. but you don't need content anymore, since console gamers have convinced themselves that a decent multiplayer component is a full game. which makes this whole cheapo night vision goggle gimmick pretty fitting. |

yeah i will probably go pre-order the game next week. that and forza 3. night vision goggles look cool. those would be sick mobbin through the mountains with no headlights on.up until headlights come your way.hahaha.
yeah everyones pretty hyped about the game. seeing as cod4 was one of the dopest games ever made. buuut it hasnt gotten overhyped like Gaylo 3 did. and that game sucked. modern warfare 2 is gonna be epic. |

my military fighter pilot friend showed me his equipment and i believe he said his night vision goggles were about $10,000 a pop. they were pretty gangster tho.
i might get the prestige one tho, and resell it later or pop that bitch open when the zombies take over in 2012 |

Busted,
Night vision goggles are sweet and all that but I feel the time could be better spent jumping on a trampoline or getting drunk on a boat. This is a toughie, I'm just spitballin' right now.

ive seen some cheaper ones through online retailers around 900-1500, but just think, COD developers purchase 20,000 or more sets of NVG's that price is gonna drop dramatically. they might be halfway decent goggles.

i never played 1, i played 2 online. 3 was the first 360 game i bought, and 4, of course, is godlike. the game has switched focus from campaign to multiplayer. the whole industry is doing the same. bfd

true everything is goin multiplayer now. No hate, i still enjoy a good single player if it depicts a realistic situation or good story/environment.

i really enjoyed the cod4 single player, but, of course, i didn't buy the game for the campaign. i thought it was just enough primer to get you used to the game mechanics, and they threw in some pretty sweet levels like the gunship one. but yeah, it was no epic campaign like doom 3 or dead space or something.

dude just get the collectors edition, all you dudes getting hyped for "nvg's" are getting played. real nvg's (nvs pec7's pec 14's etc etc) are in the mid-high triple digits...do you really think 100 dollar (minus the 50 for the game) goggles are going to be a worth a shit...wait wait...i forgot about the plastic head. im almost positive they arent going to be what everyone expects...its prob like flashlight googles or something lol. its just a scam for nerds and geeks who jerk off to star wars to get excited about lol

Since I do airsoft and night ops are quite often, I could get away with at least some sort of night vision goggle for 100 bucks lol.
I just may have to get the Prestige Edition.

After talking with a friend I realized something, while the night vision goggles are indeed cool, what the fuck would I do with them? Yea at first I would use the shit out of them just because I have them. After that what would I do with them then?
After the newness wore off they would just sit there. Basic edition for me the artwork, comic books, tin this n that, none of that shit matters to me.
