Welcome to Season 3 of San Diego Club Racing! San Diego Club Racing Series We are opening our season with an exciting Drag Racing event! Fans and Passengers are Welcome at both Drag and Autocross events! Loaner helmets are available at the SD Club Racing Ez-up tent! We are all looking forward to a huge and exciting racing season! Thank you, and good luck!

Please note that Drag racing events are subject to change Due to weather or @ Barona Drag Owner's consent! Weather has no impact on Autocross dates, racing goes on rain or shine!

(1) Drag Racing Saturday @ Barona Drag Strip

August 7th - Line up starts @ 8pm - 12am

(2) Autocross/ Slalom Racing @ Qualcomm Stadium (West Lot)

August 29th - Gate opens @ 8am; Sign up & Tech before 12pm cutoff.

Coursewalk - 12pm; Racing in two groups 12pm - 3pm

(3) Drag Racing (Red light penalty Rules) Saturday night @ Barona Drag Strip

September 4th - Line up Starts @ 8pm - 12am

(4) Autocross (Rally timing Rules), Slalom Racing @ Qualcomm Stadium (West Lot)

October 17th - Gate opens @ 8am; Sign up & Tech before 12pm cutoff.

Coursewalk - 12pm; Racing in Two Groups 12pm - 3pm

As far as the AutoX goes is it going to be a Roadcourse type with gates or just a bunch of random ass cones setup?

It should be similar to past SCCA qualcomm events. Check the web site forums for videos. You should expect something like that. BTW season 3 is full.

i know this is way off topic but wth. any chance of future drift clinics? hopefully soon san diego will have their own event like this. besides the coronado events.

There is a good possibility of this happening. We should know in about a month. Stay tuned or go to SDCR and see the progress. SDCR also has rally cross events in San Diego county if your interested.

This Sunday 9/26 SDCR is holding a gymkhana practice event catered to beginners. This will be a private event, if everything goes smoothly then you can expect more in the future and open to anyone. I'll post pics once I have them.

Yes they are very spectator friendly. Some of the members might even give you a ride in thier car. Also the Gymkhana event was a huge success.
