RB30 Complete Short Block For Sale
Item: RB30 block
Price: SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Location: Atlanta, GA Ok guys, here you go. I have a Series 2 Complete RB30 short block for sale that came out of a VL Commodore in Australia. I personally imported this block from my personal contact from Down Under. It comes as pictured below. It has the oil and water feed and returns on the side of the block. And most importantly, it has the flat machined area on the front timing belt area for the second tensioner, which most RB30 blocks here in the States do not have. It spins freely by hand with little to no force. The hatch marks are still there in the bores from when it was new. It has never been taken apart as far as I can tell, at least not here in the States.*Block has been stored indoors, in my climate controlled basement amd has never seen the rain or water. For those of you not familiar with this block, the RB30 has been a growing trend in Australia and Europe. You build the block as with any normal build, and add your RB25 or RB26 head to it and there you go, 2JZ torque and 2JZ displacement without having to switch to the dark side 2JZ route. If you want to know more, just Google it. There's tons of info out there in this swap. Shipping is to be arranged by the buyer (you). But I can help out where I can. Shipping will cost roughly $200-$350 depending on location and options. Or if you are in the Atlanta area, we can meet up and save yourself the shipping cost. Payment is by means of PayPal only, please add 3% to the total for fees. Or if you are local, cash is king. Any further questions, please ask away. Last edited by Ramius83; 05-24-2015 at 05:56 PM.. |

Ok, I have already gotten quite a few emails and messages about this already. So I'll just answer them here so every one can see them.
Is this block ready to go and can it be run the way it is? Yes and no. You can just literally slap a 25 or 26 head on this block and go with it. Do I recommend that, No, because of the unknown condition of the rotating assembly. Are the bearings ok or are the rings sealing 100%? I have no clue as the engine never ran since I had it shipped over here. It did come from a running VL Commodore from my supplier in Australia. He personally picks each block and disassembles it himself. If you did just slap a head on it, you would have to keep the rev limiter to around 6500 as the rods won't be too happy above that. And power levels would have to remain below the 500whp ISH mark with the stock pistons and rods. But once you build it up with CP pistons and Nitto rods, you can do well over 1000 WHP with no problem. The reason why this block costs how much it does is because of the freight and shipping of this thing from Australia. Each block costs be about $500 from my supplier in Australia. Then, the cost of a freight pallet, freight, handling charges, destination fees, and customs/brokers fees, costs me close to $1000. So this block cost me about $1500 to get here. On top of that, I had to wait almost 3 months for this to get here. With this block, its already here. No wait required. No hassle. No nail biting. No checking your email once a day for 3 months to see if its here yet. If you have any more questions, please ask. I'm an open book. |

Many have been asking questions in regards to the shipping. I can fully take care of shipping on my end, from the packing of the pallet to being freighted off. But all shipping fees associated with the shipment will be calculated beforehand and added to the final agreed upon price. So if you're scared about arranging shipping, I can do all of it. But you will have to add those charges to the total price of the block.
So you PayPal me the block price with a shipping address. I arrange, pack, and drop off the block at a freight company. And whatever the shipping charges are, you pay me. That's it, problem solved, and no worries. The block can be shipped straight to your front door or favorite shop. Any further questions, please ask. |

I need to move this as its not needed anymore. $1000 plus shipping, so should be no more than $1150-$1300 MAX to ship, anywhere in the continetal US lower 48 states.
