Thumbs DOWN for not telling us this would happen if it rained in advance, esp. seeing that its Altamont's POLICY to not run events in the rain (allegedly).

So why not tell us that beforehand? So we'd all be like, "shit, rain, guess I should go to work today instead"

And it wasn't even raining?

drove out to altamont, checked out the track hopeing that they would reopen, honostly it look'd dry...it was all worth it after eating at Sonics for the first time

^^yea im with chris, we were pretty close to dog napping their dog and holding him for ransom

weather was looking good, track didnt look too shabby, but the people who worked there said that the water gets beneath the asphalt so i guess they didnt wanna risk it. yea the 21st should be fun, i might even drive. personally i think the whole norcal scene has been hungry, so whatever and whichever events they can get their hands on theyll come out and play. ncda has the cheapest going rate at the moment...so it sucks for those who are passing up the great opportunity. but hey, more seat time for the rest of us!! BOTTOMS UP!
