Running on 3 cylinders?

93 hatchback with a stock sr20det black top, feels like it's running on only 3 cylinders. Runs good, but will sputter every couple seconds. I've check the coils, sparkplugs, and injectors all seem good. Thinking maybe it's some kind of vacuum leak but anyone got any ideas?

To confirm that it may be on 3 cylinders, while its idling pull each plug wire one at a time and see how the engine reacts. If it stumbles that's good. If it doesn't you found your bad cylinder. Otherwise I find it unlikely since it would be running horribly. Maybe its just miss timed.

i forgot to mention that I pulled the injector off injector 3 and it still ran the same way, at first i thought it was the number 3 coil but it wasnt so now im kinda clueless. it checked all the injectors and they worked, so i think it might be a clog or something between the injector and the coil area.

Before you go buying or modifying injectors, try swapping injector 1 with injector 3.

...then see if the problem is now in cylinder 1, or still in 3.

If the problem follows the injector, well, there you have it
If it stays in the cylinder, your problem is probably spark...

.. or something very catastrophic, lol.
