Better grounding for ecu and MAF
Read in one magazine that had sorta like a tips and tricks article, that nissans respond well to a thicker ground than factory for the MAF? I was wondering if it would be the same for ecu...and best way to go about doing both?
S14 KA specifically thanks for any ideas or suggestions..I tried searching..but most were harness issues or something not really related |

On my N62 MAF it has two grounds. One wire to the ECU I kept stock and the other I used IIRC 10 or 12 guage wire to a good chassis ground.
I noticed much cleaner readings for my signal voltage and had a slightly better idle but you wont make any more power if that is what you are wondering. |

S14 MAF is a G70. There's no real benefit to be had unless you do have a ground problem, I've seen a few S13s with a ground wire ran because somewhere in the harness it deteriorated, but it's smarter to repair the harness than to bandaid it by adding a ground for the hell of it.

Alright now I know what a s14 KA maf is called lol..thanks for all the input. Yeah the magazine had various car tips, and this was just one of them (thicker maf ground). I was wondering if anyone had done it before.
Thanks |
