Modify stock knuckles or alternative
Trying to decide if modify the stock knuckles would give a satisfactory amount of steering degrees vs buying an aftermarket one. If the consensus is to buy an aftermarket knuckle, please state which one. Thank You

really bro? that advice that doesn't really answer his question at all. I always find it easier to teach beginners when there is more available angle. I guess its kinda one of those "in the know" type of things. but ill share a little.
modding your factory knuckles wont give you that "huge angle" that everyone is looking for these days. Also welding cast iron is a little more tricky to get a solid weld than plain steel. But the angle attainable from your stock knuckles is satisfactory, and even competitive. However, doing it yourself could potentially create all kinds of binding issues. I have the MA Motorsports ones on all my cars. Pm me if your in need, I always have spares laying around. |
