Z32 MAF question
Just installed turbo kit onto KA24DE S14
Car runs, but falls on its face when you hit the gas for a second then revs. I can drive it but if you give any force to the gas it will bog before taking off. Also when idling every minute or so it will drop RPM's about to die and then catch back up. While going through all of the troubleshooting steps I found while searching this forum, I get to the Z32 MAF. Now according to that popular JWT diagram floating around I should have .5v on the left pin of the harness(B), and 12V on the right of the harness(E), mine were backwards link to said diagram Questions: - Why was it semi-running when the 12v and .5v were backwards? - Why is it in limp mode now that I have corrected it? Wont rev past 2500. - Was the MAF bad the whole time? I am going to just buy a new one tomorrow and test it, but wanted to make sure I had my ducks in a row first. additional info - injectors tested ok - TPS tested ok - no vacuum leaks - brand new 255lph fuel pump - new wires, plugs - new battery

Just realized that diagram pdf is from the BACK side of the harness plug where the wires go in. Turns out i had it wired correctly from the start. Swapped them back and started the car again, luckily once it warmed up it wasn't idle surging or bogging. Man I hope it was all a fluke.. I will ground the extra brown wire from the ISR Pigtail to chassy instead of the harness in the morning. Hopefully all is well then. **also, i havent filled the car with the 91 octane it's tuned for, still have about a 1/4 tank of 87 in it, would that do the bogging?idle surging?
