$205 a month with AAA now for full coverage on my

2000 Acura Integra GSR Coupe
1993 240sx Coupe

my record is a lot cleaner now..my last dl suspension falls off at the end of the year so I'm thinking lower payments.

Use to pay $300 for liability for the S13 for 6 months. Now $1200 for full coverage on a GTO. Miss the economical aspect of the S13.

My S14 was $78 / month, full coverage.
E30 was $200 / year, which comes to $16.67 per month.
My 2002 Civic Si is about $480 every 6 months - full coverage.

I'm 21
Just acquired my second speeding ticket I did traffic class for the first one and got it cleared off of my record. Insurance was 185$ a month for full coverage, free towing, lockouts, roadside assistance all the good stuff. It dropped to 125$ a month and I just got my second speeding ticket ever WHILE I was working ( delivering ). I'm awaiting court on the ticket this week on Wednesday. Its surprising to me how many of you don't pay for full coverage or better insurance if you all care about your S / Z chassis so much.

Nationwide.

Wow, you only pay $32 for your S13? I recently changed my coverage to the lowest liability option and I still pay $132/month for 6 months (would have been over $200 had I not changed my policy). It should drop in price upon my next renewal because of the 5-year good driver discount, but it would still be nowhere near what you pay. If it's still too expensive for my taste after that discount, then I'm going to shop around.

The Auto Insurance Thread: Reviews, Rants, & Raves

Been having an odd experience thought I would share and get some feedback.

Backstory:

So for about 3-4 years I have been insuring my autos with State Farm. Little more expensive at about $125 a month, ever since I was a teenager livin with my parents, I just signed on because it was easy and I could give my dad cash every month. About 2.5 years ago in 2010 my license was suspended for a few months. Took the bus, bummed rides, no harm no foul.

Moved to AZ after I quit a job, got a valid AZ license. Moved back to Oregon and driving around with that. Stupid I know but I had to get around somehow. (license was availed for DMV reinstatement but no time with new job)

Parents split, and both parents got new insurance policy's. Figured it was time to be on my own, so I did some research, called around and found out Geico was lowest at $113 a month. Signed on, two months on so far no problem.

Was driving my car around town and got pulled over for some stupid tag visibility deal, issued a fixit ticket. The officer also wanted me to switch license to my home state. Ok cool whatever. Fixed the issue, police officer inspected my license and tags, good to go no driving record issue recorded.

Then last week I got the strangest letter in the mail. Geico found out my license was suspended in 2010, and until I get a valid UTAH license they will cancel my insurance.

Wtf? Never even visited Utah

Called up the customer help line and I explained what was going on. They said the DMV never reinstated my license, but I just showed it to a police officer? And even they didn't know what was going on with the Utah deal. Guy gave
me their fax number and hung up. Next day I tried 6 times to fax them a copy of my license but each time it failed. (yes I had the right number) now I have a week to visit the DMV and see what's going on because I nor geico sure doesn't.

Problem is I work everyday but Sunday when the DMV is closed. Have to request time off to get this straightened out. Cool. If it doesn't work out I'm going to switch back to state farm and pay the little extra a month for better customer service.

Thoughts? Who do you insure with? How much $? Experiences?
