im about to buy one but the person selling it isnt much into cars so he doesnt know if its a SE or XE. but wat i can tell u about it, it has hub caps (dont know if its 4 or 5 lug) no power windows, it has a/c, power steering...
the front bumper looks kinda ugly...like the 80's pulsar...with two little "air ducts". car is in GREAT shape. no body work, original paint ( a little dull), SOHC engine.
theres no set price yet, but im willing to get it for 2800. most likely hes going to sell at arould 2300 (edmunds.com price).

the reason i need to know as much as i can about this car is that i'm giving up my 95 240 to my sister so that i can have a lighter car (or so i hear) n get my sr20det swap on that. otherwise...gettign the swap on my 95 might b a little harder.

so if anyone could tell me about this car i'd appreciate it. and also if i should buy it b/c i dont want any regrets...

thanks in advance

that would be the base model, the se's came with pw/ps/pdl standard. If it was a base model then it will have no HICAS and no LSD, they were only options on SE HB's after 90. I wouldn't pay more than 2300 for it, if it had low miles. I got my 91 SE coupe for 2900.

You really aren't saving that much weight.  It is harder to do a swap into a sohc car than a 95.

$2800 is way too much for an SOHC...  unless it's magic or something...

XE or SE just tells you the body style in '89-'90.  XE = coupe, SE = hatch.  The equivalent of the '91+ SE package in '89-'90 was the Performance Package.. and that car doesn't have it.

All S13s are 4 lug.
