S13 Starting Problems *PLEASE HELP*

Hey Zilvia,
So I got a 1993 240sx Fastback Automatic and I'm having trouble getting it started. When put the key in the ignition to turn it over it wont do anything but make a tick noise. Everything lights ups and works and the battery tested good, but here's the thing if i leave the ignition key on "RUN" and go under the hood and manually take the male starter power feed wire and make a connection with positive lead off the starter the car turns over and stay on no problem. It runs fine and everything, but if i shut it off and try to start it again I have to repeat the process all over again. IDK if it makes a difference but the radiator was just replace the day it started doing this funky business. My guess is ignition relay or neutral switch. What do you guys think? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, J.R.

definatley sounds like the ignition relay, or the starter solenoid.. or your starter? take apart your ignition to where you can start it with anything key shaped and see if that works... or just get a new one.

Figured it out, on the ignition switch the other end of where the key is inserted was loose. I pushed that in and it started right up.
