J30 VLSD on 4 lug S14

So far I know everything else will work, but will a J30 VLSD work if the car is 4 lug? Is there a difference? I know it's a 97 J30, and I believe I'll need two upsized bolts for it, but that's no biggie.

I assumed they had different axles between the 4 lug and 5 lug. Wasn't sure though. The S14 axles won't work for a 97 J30 VLSD?

im not sure with what years j30s but its the output shafts (6 bolt/5 bolt) that will determine if itll be direct bolt on. im in the process of looking stuff up on j30 vlsds because my welded is annoying me

Wow. No. The hub is different, not the axle. Two completely different things. The diff is a direct replacement with no additional parts. Where ever you're researching, quit.
