I need help!! S13 wont hold idle!!

HEY GUYS! I really need some help I will accept all suggestions.
okay here is the story!
I recently purchased a S13 1993 240sx coupe with a S14 engine in it. The car looked in okay conditions until i dug further.
When I first got it the owner had mentioned that it had a elec short and the brake lights did not work neither did the turn signals. So what I found was plenty of damage! What i have done to the car was repaired the cabin harness. (the one that goes under the driver seat going to the computer under the console and driver door harness). Apparently the harness melted due to the after market exhaust that was installed incorrectly(heat was transferred to the cabin  ). I have also repaired the harness that connects to the turn signal swicth under the steering column.
But wait!! I first repaired the harness that goes under the seat and the driver side door. I started the car after the repair not knowing the harness under the steering column was melted as well  ithe engine will turn on with an high and low idle constantly doing that. BUT NO LIGHTS!!!
After I dug further in I found the turn signal harness that was melted and so I repaired it, afterwards all lights where working in good condition!!
Now comes the tricky part!! the car when turn on (after the whole elec repair) it would hold this high and low idle! A friend suggested to clean the IACV and MAF and perhaps that would do the trick!
Cleaned both several times and nothing and even tried adjusting the idle screw!! it would continue to do the same thing!!
Did all the regular checks spark, fuel, timing, vac pressure etc.. all was fine!!!
Out of curiousity we checked all voltages on the engine harness just to make sure that the ECU was not damaged due to the elec short! after doing all that, We determined that the ECU took a shit on us!!!! it was sending to much volts to the MAF!
Well after knowing that I went out and purchased an ECU from Autozone for cheap (not sure if it was a good idea )

After receiving it, I threw it on and Presto!! all voltages were to specs!!
I went to start the engine and instead of having the H/L idle it turn on for a couple of minutes and then bogged and died!!
Any ways I continued to try to figure this out...(being really optimistic !!)
I decided to take off the IACV, turned out that was gone too!!
Ordered a new IACV with the air regulator but turns out the IACV came with different connectors!!(round, oval instead of rectangular) I called NISSAN and turns out they swicthed manufacturers and they were only making the round oval looking connectors for it now!
It meant that I had to replace a harness that would connect to the IACV the weird part is that the air regulator had the same retangular connector!!
Anyhow replaced the IACV and the Air regulator with the new harness and installed and inspect it.. the car would hold a much better idle for maybe a minute then it would have these hesitations like if it would dye down but yet it would accelarate its self and it would maintain the car on!!
At some points the car would turn off then we would had to start it by giving it gas!! it wont hold idle!! at some point of the day it would hold iidle just fine but then it will start again...
Now that is the current problem.. went back to the basic to check vac leak,spark,timing,etc... and nothing everything turn out good...
What I have also replaced was the TPS thinking that was the problem but nothing.. continued to do the same thing..
**NOTE**: something that we have eliminated supecting that this migth be the problem it is all the hoses behind the head that the S13 comes with.. we eliminated it and re-routed the hoses!
I need all the help that I can get I have spent hours and hours on this car and I would hate to give up!! please nay information that you can provide I would appreciate it!!
Thanks guys!!

your in tuc? Anyways, I may be able to come check it out if your close to UofA area. Have you checked to make sure your coolant is good. Bubbles in the coolant system will cause a shitty Idle.
