RBS14 aka Scooter has already won this thing with his car, even though he was tied with Brian H before Brian got his aero and had to raise his car. |

Mine is on 16x7 205/50 and 16x8 225/45 +25 all around "New BMW flush." The rolling diameter is too small, hence the car sits low:
It doesn't look slammed but there isn't much ground clearance. Next time I'll go with 205/55 and 225/50 or just get a set of 17's with 215/45 and 235/40. |

i've seen lower stock cars. the reason this thread is borderline failure is because people put a 1-2" drop on their k-sport coilovers and automatically think that just because their bumper lip scrapes going 40 mph into a driveway that they're slammed. you guys have much much MUCH to learn...

Everyone has room to learn. I just learned that you have an attitude that you can't back up, that you don't know anything about my car and finally that your opinion of my car doesn't mean squat to me. |

Funny thing is Johnny 5 has 11 speedbumps going to his apartment... You're car COULD be lower. Who cares. If you don't want it lower, that's fine, I don't give a crap.

dude don't be a technical smartass, it's soooo annoying. the fact of the matter is, look at the jist of this thread. there's mercer dropping some of the hottest japanese bombshells this forums ever seen, aaron and lindsey's rides are coming up constantly looking totally hot. then your stock 240 with what looks like wheels that were suited more for a honda than a rwd car comes up. don't think of it as, "hey i was following the guidelines" think of it more as, i have failed at modding my car and want to anger the drop enthusiasts by showing it off. all that coupled with the fact that your car could get airborn off a speedbump at 30mph and still not rub, totally not cool dude.

BTW anyone rolling in a kouki s14 with unpainted aero/mismatched body panels isn't in a position to say "totally not cool dude" Last edited by usdm180sx; 04-04-2006 at 03:31 PM.. |

I really like this thread, but if it turns into a bunch of bickering, i'll just lock it. If you dont think somebody's car is low by YOUR STANDARDS, fine. But keep that crap to yourself. Sounding all high and mighty from either point of view is annoying. Everybody has their own definition of what they think is a good ride height. Lets just leave it at that. If your car is lowered, feel free to post it. If you post a car at stock ride height in this thread though, you're friggin retarded and you suck at life. Seriously though, that would just be pointless! hahaha
Carry on gentlemen. |

New skirts make me feel lower. Still as low as before, could be lower, but it's good for me.
Front will look lower once the Silvia Aero Bumper is on, with the BOMEX lip. w00t for more parts!! New wheels will fill in the fenders as well.

I'm going to remind everyone to keep the bickering to a minimum. If you have NOTHING nice to say, just be quiet then. Also if your car looks like it could clear a curb, you probably shouldn't be posting it here. The idea of this thread is LOW cars, not 'I cut my springs a little so I lost alot of fenderwell gap'. |
