If I would have knowen I could get coilovers with my 18x10 I would not have done the cheep spring setup! Are your front wheels also +25? and what did you use to fix the rear camber?

the ONLY reason i don't like the car is cause the carbon fiber panels aren't painted. if those were done up in that sexy blue it would all be kosher in my eyes.
oh yeah, and the fact that one one has posted what the sucker runs in a straght 1/4. |

I understand the hard work thats gone into it. and I respect it for that, but it doesn't mean I have to like it..... I do like it per se, if it was painted it'd be 10x better. not a big fan of unpainted carbon fibre unless its on a black car. or just a hood

damn so many haters ... shiet if i was sponsered by any brand i would sport their stuff even though it wouldnt be top of the line. If i had those wheels i wouldnt mind because their cheap or free and they are better then stock, if i was sponsered by mr id use their coilovers because its cheap or free and its better then stock suspension, if i had sticker sponsors id probably put that on (lol j/k about that). But all in all the car has rb26dett and its clean.
btw what did you trade your car for? |

i like the car for what it is. alot of work has gone into it, Though i'm no fan of the S15 conversion at all, it has alot of time and effort in it. I congradulate you in your hard efforts and time spent on making a fine car. Peformance wise the car is very nice. But then again i guess everyone will hate my cars as well since i make my own parts and do my own wrenching time...I love you guys ha ha

Guys, it's been over two years now since the car came out in HCI Magazine, and it has spent the bulk of that time under a car cover....
The time has come to pull it off, and begin working on the motor buildup/interior. We are working with Full Race and Ivan @AMS on the motor build, so only good things can come from this. The carbon fiber front end and side skirts have been replaced with fiberglass pieces, and has been painted House of Kolor Tru Blue Pearl to match the rest of the car. I'll update more details later, but I just wanted to update several members who have PM'd me about the car and it's status... I'll post the latest pics of the car this weekend, when things slow down around here. |

But was able to recently buy the RB26DETT 240SX back, after the owner only put 250 miles on it in two years. He had added different air filters, but no other mods. So glad to have it back in my possession, and glad to take it to the next level. |

So you got 2 awesome cars for that 240?
Damn. Congrats on the new old car....and good look modifying. The car isn't my personal favorite, but it does the job well and I respect it. Bashing it would be stupid.

It was too good to pass up on, so I made the trade. But time has passed, and I'm glad to have the car back in the garage. I'm going to finish it off by building the motor, as we're looking right now at either a Garrett 4088 or 42R Single Setup with the new Full-Race RB26DETT Manifold with Twin Wastegates, 1000cc injectors, and 2.7L Forged Block with cams. I'd really like to see this car in the 750-800whp range, and if my budget allows, it will be. |

Dunno how you guys can respond negatively to a car that's probably faster than 90% of the 240s on this board. Nice car, hope it's going to be put to good use on the track.

personally i like most everything about the car but i prefer to have carbon painted so it wouldnt attract so much attention to myself or car. o and i prefer kouki front on a car that comes with a kouki front instead of the s15 front but great choices non the less

Thought you guys might be interested what those motors dyno on stock boost and 16 PSI (Nissan's max recommended boost pressure for the stock turbos)
Keep in mind, this is with no tuning. At that time, the ONLY mod was the simple addition of a boost controller. Before we change to the single setup, I'm going to tune it out just to see how much power we can get at the same boost level on the stock units. Here's the dyno graph of our car taken in 2004: |

336rwhp on stock boost...this is the reason why ive been contemplating this shiet after i sold my SR 240. I'm shipping out to Kadena in April, wont prolly be back till 4 yrs from then. When i do, i will bring a RB26 engine swap back for sure and lots of S14 chassis goodies. Just dont see my self downgrading to a S13. =p

I am really impressed with the 240SX, but I am constantly fighting traction issues.. I am trying to work out my wheel spin problem..so we shall see..
