I had the same no start issue with my car at the time as well. After I repaired the fender well portion of the harness, my car started right up! |

Why you should not let your wiring harness get all ghetto, if it was secured up where its supposed to be then this would have never happened and or if your car wasnt soo low with oversized tires. lol.
And yes that is about the easiest fix in the world. lol. Seriously, match size and color. The only wires in there that are of any difficulty are the white power wires that come from the box into the cabin for all your power to the interior fuse box, ignition and so on. But thats where size matching comes in handy because they are all different size wires. Pretty simple to fix. |

If you already fucked it up, you might as well go to a junkyard and cut off the harness's on a junked one, and do what I just got done doing. Cut, solder, heat shrink and color match each wire and run them through the actual fender holes in the chassis so you NEVER have a issue with any type of wheel/tire you get and can go as low as you like.

Fixing that is so damn easy. A shop must love you, it's like free money.
Pull the harness tape back, look at the wires that have been fucked up, match colors, solder, heatshrink, tuck, done.

This should never happen to anyone...
if you lower your car and/or change the wheel/tire setup, you should be checking for interference of components. If you don't, you shouldn't be working on your car. This is an easy fix, if you can't look at this and figure it out, you shouldn't be working on your car. This isn't being a dick op, this is being honest... |

That's why you move all wiring to the inside of the car, and then run the wires to the plugs in the engine bay. Reduces the wire mass substantially. I did it, cleans up the bay very well, but took a while to do because my first time EVER messing with wiring of that magnitude.

total_fucking_idiot butt connectors are barely acceptable for non critical items like corner-store radio or alarm installations, where they zip-tie and loom everything under your dash so you have this rats-nest of wiring but connectors are hardly acceptable for: unknown OEM chassis wires going to the front of your car. but from the looks of your tires, ide say you dont have much to worry about. at this point, it appears your car may not even be a 240... oh well, whatever. |

They work just as good as soldering them would. If they didn't I should have issues still right? Right..... |

But after reading your previous comments, I have come to realize you are a fucking idiot and know nothing about electrical resistance. That sounds like an electrical fire waiting to happen. As for this thread, my wheel fell off of my car once and ate through the whole engine harness. I cut, soldered, lengthened, and heat wrapped, then wrapped every wire through my engine bay. Those few wires are no problem to fix. Check your fuses; most likely the main fuse (75a iirc) Possibly ECU even.

No, wait. Pink fucking pony? Yeah you're still a fucking homo! Instead of just calling me a fucking idiot, explain to me why a butt connector isn't good? Cause apparently the damn things work just fine!! |

Not only are you an idiot, you are a blind one.

You want me to spoon feed you because your ass is lazy? Here you go baby boy. Electrical resistance and conductance - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The lower the resistance the better. Think of it as a game of telephone. The less people you have to spread the word, the less likely things will end up fucked up. Not to mention the ECU is made to see certain resistance values. Tossing butt connectors is sure to change the information it sees.
