I purchassed my '97 S14 back in '98 for $16,000.
Drove it for 2 months and the brakes started acting up... probably because the dealership was stupid enough to put Power Streering Fluid in my Master Cylinder... then I can't prove they did it so... that was $3000 out of pocket to replace everything!! Carbon Dash Kit All Boston Acustics Razo Titanium Pedals Razo shifter* (crap) Momo e-brake* (crap) Cusco Oil Catch Tank Nismo Oil cap Nismo Radiator Cap NGK 8mm Wires Bosch Platnum 4 Plugs All Bulbs replaced with Hyper White (all done in the first year... newbie mistakes included*) Car is currently down for a huge makeover... JDM Kouki Headlights JDM Kouki Amber Blinkers URAS Kit Carbon Hood (my secret) Ings Fenders AAR Seats Nismo Steering Wheel S14 SR20 etc... etc... You will see later... so far about $40k w/ car. I hope you're not talking about me!(rich kids).....my dad was on disability and my mom works at Walmart, and i work at a pizza joint. I've been saving for over two years, pennies,nickles and dimes you name it! i have a year and ahalf to two years to save up the other $20,000. Thats alot of working my ass off and not spending a dime on anything else that doesn't have to do with my car. Thats dedication!!!!

1997 S14 200sx RHD with 100 000Km's (60 000miles) pearl white with not a dent or imperfection besides its missing its fog lights, and some MAF problem i sorted out
$800 US Staying that way for a while Got a buddie with a 96 S14 200sx that im getting some stuff for, should be pretty quick when i finnish his $2500 shopping list of items to take back to south africa when i return  how i get suckered into my buddies car being faster than mine i dont know |

I have no clue... I got a shoe box of receipt on for my parts and stuff for my swap last year. Gauging from my credit card bills and money i dont have....guesstimating around $12k.
Spending another $4k this month for bigger turbo kit, full head work *port/polish and valve job* and tuning. Thats before the car *$13.5k 4 yrs ago* and miscellaneous stuff that ive already put into the car before my swap. |

Repairs about $300 worth the parts so far Wheels and tires $800 Interior crap $ 180 Exhaust $100 (w00t! Blitz nurspec too) Taking off the bumper and finding that the car has been in a wreck and was rigged all crapily by the previous owner = owned.... Total so far $4880... im never gunna get my money back with this car :-(... too much shit keeps breaking Choices are keep this, mod it and thrash it... then down the road part it out then sell the car as stock.... or sell it and buy an s14... but not have much money for mods |
