s13 s13 Energy suspension In car RLC bushings install..

So i was trying to get motivation to do my rear lower control arms but could not find any pics on people doing them.. so i figure ill contribute...

support car remove sway bar.IMG00035.jpg

Bring down the arm & jam against subframe put pressure with jackIMG00037.jpgIMG00047.jpg

Your friends plus a long bolt washers and nut, 1in circular saw.IMG00041.jpg

The rest speak for them self . cutting out the sleve need to be careful not to cut too much into arm..IMG00039.jpgIMG00042.jpgIMG00043.jpgIMG00044.jpgIMG00045.jpg

The fronts are just as easy but you live the sleves on S13 1 1/8 circular saw will even clean out the rubber from the sleve.

Bolt little longer than twice as long as the bushing (third pic at the bottom) washer at one end, other end bushing with out the sleve washer and nut, then just start the nut and it will start to bring busing in the arm ,(impact driver/gun handy but not necesary) i then used the sleve to finish pressing it in cause bolt was not fully threaded, when you remove the bolt and washers tap the rest of the bushing in , sleve just presses in by had (dont forger the lube on any contact surfice.. pretty straight forward and some imagination..

I just did a similar job on my S14, but with a different install method. I did mine with video vs. pictures, but it looks pretty similar. Good job.
