is it an s14 block? cuz i have a 95 s14 with a 98 sr20det every thing is done besides the bottom end and i was gunna do a full build this summer and pull that in the winter but if i can get the block for 100$ ill just do that this summer

I would think with the level of support and decently priced parts out there now the sr20det would still be the best bet and easiest to build. I looked at the CA18 pretty seriously for a while for a new build that is being planned also but still on the fence. The nice thing about the CA is it's extremely light, has an iron block and can be easily bored out to 1.9+ litres with a valve train that can handle much higher revs stock than the sr...

honestly if you still have the ka id just put rods and pistons on it and then slap a turbo kit on it. no hassle getting parts for the ka

Solid advice, and i all ready have an sr i wanted somthing different i was planing to build an s13 coupe i want the engine first this time tho

No i bought my 240 as a shell and imported an sr20

slap a ej25 in that bitch lol. honestly out of the 3 you picked id pick the rb20. more torque then sr plus still have high rpms.

My one friend talked me in to getting an Sr20det Gtir awd and build that and Im bout to go an s13 coupe tommaro I need a good awd car for the winter lol but I have an other friend that wants the block so ill c what's up for that price

Sorry man blocks pending finally to a local buyer, but shipping did almost make it not worth and with the mail losing now 3 of my packages I officially hate shipping stuff, they dont understand that I want to drive my car haha
