Hey, I was just wondering how hard, and deeply involved it would be to install ABS on my car=96 S14. What all is different?? Calipers, ECU program?? Do u think JWT could program ABS into my ECU??? ABS is such a kick ass thing and makes me feel a thousand times more secure especially in the rain. Thanks

There is a lot more to it than that. you might as well try to find your car with abs... there are sendors, lights, fuses, so many things... I would just tell you to learnt o brake better! lol! Trust me, even if you did get tehm you will hate them incredibly on certain conditions anyways... my dad actually pulls the fuse out on his van sometimes cause they piss him off so much. In addition to that, if you change your rotors, pads... anything, you can compromise the programming that your brakes were given, hence the special parts for upgrading abs brakes... and you can't big brake kit abs... just won't work without a ton of modification. That is why I am glad I don't have it, makes life a lot easier.

ABS = Another Bad System. Seriously, ABS, FWD, Automatic transmissions, they're all made for people that don't want to learn how to drive well, and they all suck. A skilled driver can outperform a computer when it comes to anything like that. It's not worth it.

Upgrading to better brakes will stop you much faster than stock brakes with ABS on dry pavement by far. In the rain and snow it is usefull though, but even without it, the car seems to stop okay in the wet suff.
