Discount tire center broke my rear toe-rod

discount tire centers broke my rear toe rod when they were doing an alignment today on my s14. The mechanic was twisting it really hard and i guessed it cross-threaded and snapped. so my car is stuck at the alignment shop for tongiht, the manager told me i had to pay $20 for the install. But this is the 2nd time I took it to them with the aftermarket parts. They told me that because it was an aftermarket part it wasnt covered under the contract or somthing like taht. I have the life-time alignment with them. This is the one in El Monte california, just wondering if there is anything I could do before I go back there tomorrow? I am planning to call the corporate office tomorrow also.

keep bitching, there is no reason they should break anything. its their fault they have incompetent employees. i wouldn't let them sell you short cus they think they can get away with the "aftermarket part" thing.

hahahahahahahahahahahaha

vick is the biggest dick (hey, that rhymes)

i've heard stories of sti's getting aftermarket lips scraped off while coming off the lip because they weren't careful

and now my friend's brand new dtm kreuz 20's have scratches on the face because they weren't careful when they mounted the tires. took them the entire freaking day to mount 4 tires, too

don't go there!!!

i stopped going there, those fuckers are assholes, the guy gave me a lecture on having 3 degree camber.

that stupid head also told me i can't get back to stock alignment with a camber plate. he said, and i quote " no no, that is only good for 1 degree, 1 degree only, how you drive around like that?"

well wahtever, i complained to the corporate office, and he said most likley i will get my reimbursment, cuz i had to pay $60 today to get it aligned and fixed again. they had to reinstate my policy because i had aftermaket parts, but the thing is they already did it once with the aftermarket parts and they didnt say anything bout it. oh wellz hopefully ill get my reimbursment back.

seriously its all their fault, if they knew it was an aftermarket part, they should have said something before, during the visual inspection.
