98 s14 no interior electronics or exterior lights
Hey boys! I'm new here and to the 240/mechanic scene but after watching like 300 build videos I decided that it was time I bought one for myself!
Keep in mind I'm only versed in preventative maintenance and have never built, swapped, rebuilt or wired anything in a car before owning this one so my knowledge is limited lol. My 240 wasnt in the best shape when I bought it for 2800 bucks but it ran good had no issues starting whatsoever and still doesn't. The problems started cause I had to park it until I moved into my new house last month but that didn't stop me from doing some cosmetic modifications at least. I put full coilovers and some wheels I found on Craigslist on it and parked it. Now when I moved it to the new house 2 weeks ago I had no lights (except brights) no running, tail or brake lights, no tacho/speedo no nothing inside at all and I'm lost as to how i go about fixing that, I know some of yous pros have some suggestions so I'd like to hear em! I'll post photos tomorrow morning! Thanks! |

Hey man congrats on your 240sx purchase. I bought a 97 about 2 years ago and I love it!
Have you checked to make sure all your grounds are grounded properly and tight? I had the main battery ground that goes to the fuse box in the engine bay loose and cause all sorts of weird problems. Also check all fuses in the engine bay and inside the car. |
