NH: Anyone in need of a paintjob, click here!
So these past 2 years ive gotten in to painting, so i decided instead of doing it for just myself id offer it up to you zilvia members... so i figured id post on here see if anyone had any interest... painting your car isnt going to be as cheap as maaco, because it isnt possible to beat there prices unless you paint it yourself. also there quality sucks.
the cost of paint, primer, reducer, hardner, and clear coat, will be about $280-300 +/- depending on colors. then actual cost of painting will vary depending on how much body work needs to be done and what you would like painted. anyways, shoot me an email or pm. and later on tonight ill post up some pics of some of the stuff ive done... heres my s14 its not done being clear coated or sanded yet but heres some pics in the progress of paintthe dull to shiney spot, isnt a run its the clear coat and base coat seperation where i didnt spray yet.) (dont neg rep or comment about the rims, they came with the car and there coming right back off.) Primer(3 coats) going back in for paint engine bay before: engine bay after: dont mind the shit that i left in there.. Left side of car: half way through clear coating: Left side of car: half way through clear coating: Left side of car: half way through clear coating: Right side: painting the roof black Right side: before clear coat, look at that ghetto ass rim Last edited by ByeByeSti; 04-04-2008 at 04:13 PM.. Not to be an ass but most people would prob be scared off because of your age. Are you certified in anything? pics of a booth? I know when I started painting 8 years ago no one trusted me haha. Good luck and I hope your wearing a fresh air system.

just figured someone would need paint, and id help you guys out and myself ya know? instead of seeing s-chassis wrecked with maaco paint jobs that look like shit. |

I was gonna do the same except with my G. Then bring it to all the meets, shows, import wars etc. Then people can eyeball and see for themselves what you can really do. You cant see dirt, zebra stripes, fish eyes etc in a pic.
If you get certified in a paint line they will honor a lifetime warranty even if you do it on the side. If you do it by the book and something happens the paint line will pay for a repaint. Dont forget if you dont use good stuff your gonna F yourself in the end big time. What line do you usually paint with?

I can vouch for Pat.
His Audi was real clean. He knows what he's doing. Just because he's 18 doesn't really matter, if you have the experience, like he does then who cares. Just look at the work he did. His Audi was badass and I know for a fact his 240 will turn out even better. He's had the worst luck with his Audi. Hit a deer, got backed into, and got hit from behind and yet every time he was able to make the Audi look 10x better than it did before. |
