This is something we get asked all the time - simple answer, it's possible, but not easy. Talk to Luke @ Blu808 ([email protected]) in San Jose if you want to stick with someone up in Norcal.

Completely agree! One of the best suspension pieces I have bought for my cars over the years. KW's are butter on the streets. I'm really looking forward to making it out to Sebring later this year with my car.

Car looks absolutely fantastic, it is an extremely nice build and there is great attention to detail. Props for driving it home too, not trucking it.

Not sure if I missed it or not, did you ever make it to the dyno? If so, what were the numbers again?

Hi,

was wondering how you mounted your corbeau seats with which brackets? was wondering how it sits compared to oem, it is a bottom mount seat correct?

Also, is it very comfortable, for example like a recaro srd? I saw these seats and they look like a seat I would like to get for my daily as well.

any info would be awesome.

Thanks

The stock headers that came with the e-Rod kit. From what I gather they are C5 headers. Check out v8silvia.com for more info on what's the best stock option header to use.

I used the stock Corbeau mounting brakets for an S13. As you see I modified the lower cushion to lower the seating position. It's worked very well, of course some comfort was lost due to not having as much cushioning but overall I cant complain. The SRD's are about the same in comfort if you factor in the stock cushion. I love these seats since they are very stealthy looking.

I'm way late to this but..

Wow! I just read this entire build thread and lost a bit of time for sleep for work lol. Just saying this is an awesome build is an understatement. And the fact that you were so close to getting it to pass in Cali blows my mind. This is probably one of many reasons why I want to leave California and grab my stuff and head out to Texas. This is a dream build to me and you sir are winning. Add to that the teggy as well....just beyond dope.

But this proves it can be done if the proper steps are taken and has given me loads of motivation. Time to finish school get my nursing on, and get down to business. Subscribed to this thread, great reference, great quality, great pictures, great build man.

GM gave him his, but if you're looking to get one any GM Performance Parts dealer can get you an Erod. If you need pricing, shoot me a PM

Thanks again for the kind words fellas.

I havent been up to much with the car since Ive been busy with other projects. I did try on a set of 17x9.5 +28 SSR Type F's with R888's that are off the S14 and I really like the way it looks black on black.

I've been slowly building the S14 into a better track prepped car so the only thing new the S13 is getting is a front lip that's in paint at the moment.

My daily has been eating some of my time up too. Since I foolishly decided to convert it over to Euro bumpers. I cant just leave anything alone!

This thread was a great read.
I love that you took a lot of time to carefully photograph everything, plus the pictures look awesome.
So if you have time, how about a quick vid of some spins in the S13?
We'd ALL love to hear that beast!

I have a e21 320i and wanted to do the same euro bumper swap, how challenging is it, and do you have a right up and where you sourced the parts?

Thanks!

Awesome build and read. Got hooked on reading it while waiting for my "45 minute" alignment. I wish I had the time and funds to do this. Maybe one day. Awesome car.

Amazing build man! Very inspirational! Its cool too follow a build through a magazine then see it on a forum! I like the "taste" in which you've built this car, its subtle and not flashy but has a certain class! Your Integra is nice too, seeing it in modified got me into cars lol Keep it up!
