Damn then that blows for sure. Did you figure out what was going on? I hope the same doesnt happen to me after replacing all of the seals so whatever you figure out may help me avoid any possible issues.
Thanx |

I thought that might be an issues but since the guy was Master Tech I held back from mentioning that. Yeah there is a particular depth that the seal goes into the block. If memory serves me right from the install the top of the seal should sit flush the tiny "lip" you see in the pic so that. Hope everything else is alright. Glad you figured it out.

Glad you figured that out before it caused any real issues. BTW...I ended up using a dab of Gasket Maker around the Front Main Seal with the idea that it could keep the seal in place while under high boost. I was reading thru AFRACERS thread and he had done the same thing. Not sure if this is something your interested in but thought I would throw it out there just in case.

Test fitting the nipple I made. Fits good but ill be knocking about 1/8" off on the filter side to reduce the number of turns it takes to meet the block

Some minor progress this weekend...
Installed turbo - had to make a "custom" tool to tighten the SHCS holding the turbo Installed front half of turbo Installed 2JZ-GE water pipe to remove the coolant lines going around the block Original junk New pipe Side by side Installed It doesn't quite bolt up to the block without modification - I may slot the bracket and add a spacer for piece of mind but i doubt it's necessary

I was wondering what had happened to ya.....nice progress. Did you need to do any mods to the Treadstone so that the turbo lined up? I have read a few threads in which people had to modify the holes on the Treadstone and/or the turbo's to match up?

Workin on a bracket for the A/C compressor removal. Still gotta confirm all dims and check design but here's what I've got so far... I know it's probably overkill but why not gives me a chance to play with the machines at work
The redline shows where the bracket will go Got hooked up by a friend with some aluminum blocks to make the a/c bracket from Started working on the Compressor Eliminator Bracket Machined a section to the final thickness Tomorrow ill be saw cutting the excess off then finishing remainder of machining. Stay tuned
