the unwanted s-chassis build.
heres some progress of my s12 build. ive owned a few other s chassis car including an s30, s14, and s13. this s12 or 200sx is an 84 originally came turbo with a ca18et, took the that pos out and replaced it with a lesser pos with a ka24de off a 96. the plan was to make the car some what simple and Daily driven with an oem looking kade swap and oem exterior. i know the s12 is not as admired as the other s chassis but i wanted something a little different and something that is somewhat new to me. enjoy
specs engine: ka24de stock everything. with rebuilt timing chain magnaflow muffler with 2.5 inch all the way back. spec 3+ clutch. suspension: s13/s14 front conversion. s13 forutune auto coils, rear fortune auto shock with sprint car springs and perches. ssr long champs. 15x7 +11/+6 the kade wife doing away with the carpet and sound deadning old engine off. parts for the car off with the old. fronts almost good to go. rear is disassembled fresh powdercoat. cleaning the wheel test fitting fronts done. swap done oem look. |

God these cars have grown on me.
You should run a simple T25 setup with the oem turbo manifold for that oem look you're going for and earn that turbo badge Looks awesome, keep up the good work!

I like the look of this thread, nice quality pictures too.
You might want to start a new thread in the build section though, mods are going to lock this one up.

i think s12's are dope. its good to know that you can easily pick it up, and turn it into a drift car/give it stance/have a good time with it... rwd jap with IRS (except for sra models 84') goodluck! cant wait to see more pics |

This thread is win. I can not wait to find a deal on an S12, but I have NEVER seen one as clean as yours, good save! Your cars are so simple and clean, and thats how it should be.

Back in the day, I was going to build one of these with a set of white Impul Silhouettes but, never could find a clean enough s12 coupe locally. Anyways, you shit looks awesome.
