S15 piston information
Hi guys, I've tried searching but haven't been able to find any info on this other than a generalization of what a stock s15 sr can handle. What I'm looking for in particular is how the stock pistons are and what they can handle. I'm rebuilding my motor; as far as bottom end goes I got eagle rods, main bearings, rod bearings..etc. As far as my pistons go, they look in good shape. From what I've heard, s15 pistons are pretty heavy duty, but that could also be wrong and I honestly don't know .
Any input? |

S14 and S15 pistons are the same cast 54c units. 350-400whp is a safe bet. I'm sure somebody somewhere has made 500whp + on a stock bottom end but those engines usually don't last more than a year or two.
