Start a car club how so? What are the requirements? Benefits of joining your club?
Not to knock on your idea, but no one knows who you are. www.socal240sx.org has been around for a long time, and we are going to roll out some big things in the next 2-3 months. -alex |

Umm, dont want no one to take my idea, but I was thinking about an elite club of only fixed up and tuned s cars,..... the name?? "S Klass " Only the worthy would make it, and every car would wear the name all in the same location, like top left side of the rear windshield... hell I wouldnt be worthy enough for this crew. Sorta a "Emperor" Initial D rip off.......

blah
From what I've seen, starting too many clubs will deteriorate a scene. This is due to the fact that, unlike the honda guys, we do not have a big population, and the small community will have its kliques - It's not as fun, plus...we already have a few good clubs already.

Why don't we have one big club? hehe, and start our own website too:
http://www.240sxforumsnissaninfintic...oy.com/net/org Just a thought edit: Also wanted to add that a lot of people at the 240 meets aren't that friendly either....I mean, people don't come up and say hi to you anymore

Bryan I kno what you mean dude, but people at nissan meets are a helluva lot nicer than other meets I've been to. You just gotta greet people and they'll greet you, it's a form of building up comfort talking to people you barely know.

Hey I live in Long Beach lets meet up. I need to meet some 240 people as well, and like you I generally don't approach people. Let me know. |

Unfortunately, there are already pleeeeenty of cliques within the 240 community; it sucks that there are so many political parallels and similarities in everything we do... from cars to friends to work to business to even family. Horrible!
These 240sx cliques and the behind-the-back-bitching goes largely unknown/unheard until you see/hang-out/spend time with some of the more "elitist" 240ers. edit: I should have mentioned that what I refer to I can only speak for in Southern California... although I have no doubt that it occurs elsewhere, too. |
