help! i got a cracked dashboard!

here's my problem, i noticed some cracks on dashboard recently in my 90' HB 240 but don't know how to fix it. the cracks start from the winsheild and come down about 6-8 inches. any ideas on how to fix this without replacement and how do i prevent this problem from ever happening. i have no clue how this happened but im thinking that it could be from the 100+ degree heat here in las vegas. please help me! its embarrasing to have someone ride in my car and have them see cracks on my dash it kills me just looking at it. some help would greatly be appreciated.

Interior repair guys...

When I was at BMW, we had a guy that we subcontracted to come in and repair stuff like that.

And one time in particular we did have him fill up a large dash crack on an Oooollllddd 325. You could tell it had been done, but it looked a hell of a lot better.

Check your yellowpages for automotive interior renovation/repair/renewal and stuff like that.

These people do exist.

They sell stuff to fix cracks in your dash at auto parts stores and some department stores with automotive sections. It won't look good, but it will look better.
