Stock SR - need new MAFS - SR MAFS or Z32 MAFS?

I installed a SR into a S30 Datsun recently and rev's wont go over 3k without bogging out. Idles perfectly, but give it some gas (+3000k) and she starts to bog.

My question. I see a bunch of guys swear by the increased flow of the Z32 MAF sensor but I am wondering if that is needed when running a stock SR set up. I am planning on playing with boost a little, but not going more than 13-14 lbs.

Anyway, should I upgrade to the Z32 or stay stock with a new SR MAF sensor?

maybe your MAF is bad. try the DOHC or even the SOHC MAF.

im not sure if its a good idea to use a Z32 MAF with stock injectors, but correct me if im wrong.

DOHC KA MAFS wont work only SOHC will work but ONLY with the R/T SR

If its an S14 SR then you need to either get the correct year MAFS for the Engine or an SAFC and N60 or N62 MAFS

Z maf sends a different voltage signal to the stock ECU. You need atleast a SAFC to correct the voltage input so the ECU wont go haywire with it on or an ECU rom tune.

Did you already tried to clean the MAF element with an electrical contact cleaner? Also, double check the MAF wiring.
