some times im glad to be on the east side haha....when i was in hawaii i saw one about 6 or so inches long my grandma stepped on it it was hard to kill i was also young at the time that thing is f***in huge

lol....I never knew those things were FAST! I've never seen one move that way...but I guess for the majority of animals/insects, when it comes to food, instincts come into play.

Yeah they are fast as hell, we have similiar ones in Puerto Rico and they are much maligned.

Angel, I thought the Chupa Cabra was fake!! Whats so bad about mongooses?? (that explains the snake shortage atleast =D )

When I was on my honeymoon, we had a time-share condo, and the first day we were there there was a centipede that looked just like that one in the living room, probably 6-7 inches long, though half as thick. Gave me the heebie-jeebies, just crawled behind the tv and never saw it again, though that didn't necessarily make me feel any better while we were there.
