Now, imagine that same exact motor setup with a B16b short-geared tranny, mounted snuggly in an early 70's Austin Mini with 13x7 wheels and tiny little tires... SCARY AS FUCK.
Didn't drive it, though. Just rode in it. When the guy driving got on the gas in 3rd gear, I pooped a little.

the fastest cars i've ever driven were a acr viper that we aligned (set front toe cuz he had bent a tie rod) and a 5.0 vert mustang twin turbo that had previously been owned and built by kip from turbo magazine (owner and publisher before primedia bought the magazine).
fully built 5.0 with an incredible handcrafted manifold/piping setup. on street tires. supposedly 550whp. fucking scary. i have some pix somewhere, i'll try to find em.

Some BMW, 4 years ago.

Hit 140 on the airfield and I could of easily gone to 180+, but I didn't want to risk wrecking it lol. I was super light on the brakes and they where still squealing.

Forbid it if an owl or a rabbit was right in front of me. Would of been epic, hahaha.

I test drove the Nismo 350 when I was 17. I went to the dealership and they were like "you wanna upgrade your Z" and I was like "yea, let me drive that Nismo" then I did.

ridden in a lot of things. 66 GT0 389 6 pack 400whp among others. Owned and drove a 300whp RB25 powered S13. Drove a 98 Mustang Cobra 4.6 Vortech Supercharged 540whp, was my old Bosses car had to drive him to the hospital. Fucking Car would spin tires in third on the freeway at 75 mph.

BPU++ 2jz-gte swapped s14...made i think 476 whp then. Now its running a PT67 w/ all the supporting mads, etc

Or a 514whp SRT-4...useless, roasted tire in 4th on the highway LOL

And the fastest car I've been in was a C5 Z06 w/ heads, cam, i think 100 shot of nitrous. He said it made like 500 something whp w/o the n2o. But this car has since been walked on the highway by the s14 .

Most fun car I've ever driven was a Pulsar GTi-R w/ a GT2871R, etc, etc...plus it the only time I've driven a RHD car

the red car in my sig. 453 at the wheels.

runners up:
-SL600.
-S55 AMG.
-cheyenne turbo.

i dont get to drive alot of fast cars. last three were at an old job i used to have.
i'd really like to drive a supercharged mustang or an STi or something. most of the performance cars ive driven have been euros. i'd like to try something different.

I drove a 1990? 4 wheel steer prelude with about 1500$ worth of suspension into it and a built B20 with a very short geared tranny (and a nasty race clutch, i think it was 6 puck...don't know what brand).

It's my friends new car. It has a supposed 300 whp but I doubt that. What's fun about the far is taking corners ridiculously fast. It honestly feels like the rear end is just sliding around while you take turns so fast. Gives almost the effect of a drift without the chaos and tire screeching.

My brother in-laws 300 horse EVO IX MR. That car was literally so tight, it was a blast.

Unfortunately I'll never have a chance to run it against my 240, due to a repossession, the weight difference would make it a hell of a race!

I don't think so. His could be felt at any point in driving, even going around 60 or so.

It feels as if the back end is sliding out but it's controlled and there's obviously no tire screeching.

Edit: I shall look more into it. I know i feel it though.

Edit again...: (though Wiki isn't the greatest of sources) this year prelude I drove (1989..prolly not what i said before but I was guessing lol..my friend cleared it up) is mechanical 4ws not the electronic or hydraulic. So I do believe it always works.
