s13 Newbie coilover adjustment question

Okay, I am a noob and I did search but I did not find any specific instructions on how to adjust my coilovers.

Currently Im on the front and trying to bring them lower. do I adjust the spring or the bottom bracket..

I have about 2.25 inches from the fender to the tire and would like it to be right above the tire..

Is there any typical gauge? like for every half inch adjusted moves the fender closer.. I am a noob and learning all of this is new to me, I never had coilovers before, obviously.

please make it painless...

Are they full tap? The way I do mine is to compress the springs to the same length on both sides and then adjust the bottom to set my height.

spring perch set so there is zero tension and zero free play on the spring when the corner is jacked in the air.

adjust height by lower bracket.

and no there really isn't. just keep fucking with it and you'll eventually get it where you want it, or close.
