I am just wondering... I wanna do it, and I have seen it done to other cars. And beside looking cool, I like the idea of not banging the doors into things when they swing open and stuff like that... honestly it can't be that hard to do with the right hinge, and I am just wondering about experiences with this kind of thing if anyone has had any.

I don't have a link, but I have seen integras done, and one eclipse. It looks cool, and to me it is functional, plus I have to change one of my door hinges anyways... so why not be frivolous

I've heard its expensive as ####, and most people who DO do it go the ghetto route, with no hydraulics to lift the doors, which are fairly expensive.

Check the places that make parts for lamborghini kit car replicas ... They make lifts for doors like that, I have that planned for my 240 <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

oh you mean sissor doors. &nbsp;i prefer a kit with something similar to sissor doors but instead of going up it pops out and then pivots to a 90 degree angle. &nbsp;if youve seen the koenigsegg cc v8 youll know what im talking about.

I've look at those before they are sweet. &nbsp;I've seen a mustang with them. &nbsp;I just want to put suicide doors on mine. &nbsp;hehe. &nbsp;I love suicide doors on anything!
