What does it take to do this taillight conversion? V. S14

S15 rear on a S14. Pictured Above is Kazama S14 with S15 rear. Looks really clean and OEM. I seen it done a few times but not one like this where it looks like the car came that way.

I know I'm gonna need a S15 trunk and mate it with a S14 one to fit the rear window. Also As far as the quater panels am i still going to need them since I plan to use a wide body kit for S15 and mate with the the S14. Will a rear bumper for a S15 bolt on with no modification with this mod too?

With the money you're going to waste buying and fabbing all this...you could just buy a JDM S15 and buy a S14 roller/shell. Swap vins and etc and dispose of the freakin S14 and call it a day.

I kinda like the challenge. Local guy here took a BN sport wideobdoy S15 kit and fabricated it to fit S14 with the S15 front but for the rear instead of S15 he kept it S14 but modified the rear to fit a S14. The car was yellow. Maybe you guys seen it before. The car I don't know if it ever got finished tho.

Modifying fiberglass bodykit to fit a different body is one thing but that is nowhere close to what you are attempting to do. Be prepared to spend a buttload of money on it, specially if you're planning on doing it right.

Doing it right = using metal panels with the least amount of bondo and fillers.

Heres how to do it right... the s15 body lines match up better with an s13 hatch. this guy did it right but not sure if he ever finished... Good Luck on the S14 conversion... you might want to see if you could get someone from japan to cut out some rear panels from an s15.. as a start but you got a lot of body work time involved... hope you didnt plan on paying someone to do it

well your going to need alot of luck/ money, if you got it andd that is what you want nothing will stop you. Personally I think you have better luck of moving to Austrailia/japan/ or anywhere else that has actual s15 and living there and buying a real one.

na, that's too boring go with r35 rear end, that would be the right way of doing it, there is plenty of people crashing those fronts leaving you the rear. s15 is just another mass produced vehicle nothing special about that, pic a car that is rare and then get the rear end and do the conversion.

hmmmmmm so now that we are talkin about crazy conversions how about geo metro with a ferarri f50 front with porsche 959 rear and REAL lamborghini gallardo doors with the front ferarri red, lambo doors yellow, and rear a porsche grey and a for motor setup drop a monte carlo front wheel drive ls4 and lets go disgo interior

seriously though, look at the body lines...it looks like he molded the body kit in also and yes like everyone else said lots of welding and if u could find an s15 rear end that would help a million

Pointless.

OP, custom work like this costs thousands of dollars to pull off correctly.

Otherwise, you'll just end up with shit.

Search.
