s14 silvia gauge question
i have the s14 gauges that go above the radio.
but when i got the car only the volt meter works how would i go about getting the oil pressure to work? |

it has the half that connects to the gauges, the other half is cut.. i guess so the person could wire them in. I just tried to figure it out and there are two wires that have open butt connectors, im guessing one for boost and one for oil pressure. what wire do i connect the oil pressure gauge to? anybody know?.. i just tried to connect it to the oil sending unit wire(yellow with green stripe) but it didnt do anything.

six wires, two for illumination, one to ignition, one to ground, and one for boost and oil signal. The boost signal will come from the boost sensor mounted. Oil signal will come from a true OE oil sending unit.
Oil sensor needs to be from a Z32/R32/R33 OPS. Also you don't need the harness to get it to work, if you look on the back of the gauges you will notice the circuits and each one is labeled. |
