The final piece is on the way, but as usual there is a wait for it.

As much as everyone loves the fact that i am ka-t, i have picked up a full pull out ls1 out of a 01 ss, so in the next few months, you will begin to see progress on building that up for the next motor for the car. Until then i am just biding my time until the next events to really finish shaking the car down and figuring out what else if anything really needs to be addressed at this time. So fret not, i will be running the ka-t for quite awhile longer, and wont pull it out until i absolutely have to. Not really trying to bring the car back down right after i got it all done, so this will serve as a stage 2 iteration later down the road.

Thanks for all of the kind words guys. As some of you who are friends with me on FB or follow me on instagram already know that since lsat summer i picked up a S14 that i've been dabbling with and as of a month ago got pretty serious so i'll be adding that to this build thread as well rather than starting a new one. So this will be a culmination of both of my S-Chassis' builds. So I'll get you up to speed on it now.
This is how i picked the car up from a buddy, it started its life with me as a 95, came with Dmax tails, tien super street coilovers and already kouki front swapped with a jdm front bumper. So i went ahead and started ordering parts for it, straight out of the gate i went OEM 5 lug new, jdm front lip, navan side skirts and threw my Torques from the s13 on it. Painted a few things Built a set of blast pipes for it at work By this time i had bought a JDM rear bumper and valences as well as a Dmax trunk spoiler and a 9K Racing dmax style roof spoiler which fits like ass but we will get to that later. Also all my friends convinced me to slap my meisters on it and they never got taken off once my sc300 was sold i bough the weds for the s13 so everything was good. Went to springfest with it just enjoying the car and driving it every day The KA was on its last legs so i went ahead and bought a kouki s14 SR with all the goodies to get it in there, spent an entire night after work and had it swapped in and running with a few loose ends to tie up. Got some PBM Coilovers for it and lowered it a tad Which leads to present day, i have been driving my 2500hd tow rig around and went out of town, came home to my car being involved in a hit and run, luckily my roommates girlfriend ran the driver down and called the police to get their information. At first it didn't look too bad, few dents down the side of the car, and a bent tierod and rim, since that's what took most of the impact. Insurance adjuster comes and writes up an estimate for all of the visual damage and strokes a check. All is well, or so i thought, Ordered a bunch of parts including, JDM rain visors, SPL outer tie rods, PBM RUCAs, Toe arms, Tension rods, and Tein 350Z inners. Come to find out when i took everything apart once the parts arrived that it not only bent to tie rod and wheel, it also bent the steering rack, which cracked the case and bent the steering column since it was locked when hit. So after replacing those components as well the plan has been to repaint the whole car and freshen it all up, needless to say its been a pain and alot of late nights after work but the car should be finished this weekend and ready to put back together next week. Most everything is already painted the new color so here's some progress pictures from the last few weeks up until today which will be the last pictures. One thing i do have to say is that this color has so much dimension and pearl so under different lighting and even angles it looks completely different. The color is Chocolate Brown Metallic, pulled from a Mercedes color chip book. As of today getting ready to do the final glaze work and finish prepping to paint the last piece of the puzzle the main chassis and cut everything in.

Looks great. Looks like you'll be color matching the hood? It kinda stuck out before but maybe it will look alright with the new color if you don't paint it. Real classy 14.
