I just applied for a job at Best Buy In their Geek Squad dept. but they call me to schedule an interview but they are saying only Seasonal Jobs Are available. Is there any Best Buy people on here? Who know about this?

used to work for bby a while ago. i wasnt seasonal but every year around this time they hire about an extra 10 or so employees just for the holidays. and when its all over say bye bye. except if youre really good. they may keep 1 or 2 people out of all the seasonal workers.

How is it that the OP doesn't already know this?

At 24 years old, I would think that he'd know that big box retailers only hire seasonal employees at this time every year.
