I got jamies on the phone today. I'm getting my car tuned tomorrow. Jamies is great, spent tons of time on the phone with me and I know they'll do a great job. Prices are so good.

anyone have their email? tried [email protected], and apparently they no longer have an easily searchable website.
I need to see if they still have a copy of my invoice, thinking about adding its value to my insurance (who apparently do not care)... |

Bump for an awesome shop.
Hey all, I've been going to G-dimensions for the 4 240sx both s13 and s14 that I've had and also my 1990 miata. I have never had a problem and their new place is even better then their old one (and they now have a dyno). James (the owner) will do anything from dyno work to custom pipes/exhaust to whatever you can think of, and I have always been happy with both the worksmanship and the price. (he'll work with you on the price btw, so that you can build a car to suit your budget). The only downside of this shop is the one that people seem to be talking about most on this thread, getting a hold of it. SO here is the deal, first off, the best way to get a hold of James is to text him, which means you need to personally go to the shop and ask him for his cell number (i'm not giving it out so dont even ask). If you dont feel like doing that, or its impractical for you to go out there, then be ready to call 6-10 times before he answer. the way I used to do it is to call every 15-30mins. James works on most, if not all the cars in the shop, so he is often unable to answer his phone or doesnt hear it ring... so you have to persevere a little. One of the other things i like about g-dimension is that James doesnt take a job if he doesnt think he is going to do it well, this happened to me for the 1st time when i was there a few months ago and asked for a RHD conversion...he straight up told me, "I dont want to, a body shop would do a better job, bring it back afterwards and I can reistall the motor/interior". Other reasons why I have been very happy with the work and work ethics at G-dimension is that I have seen James work at all hours of the night to finish a customers car on time, something I have rarely seen at other shops. Overall, G-dimension has never failed me, wether it was something small or a full engine blueprint/build. their main work is nissans but I have seen them build anything from a Brabus based Mercedes to a Lan-evo (to a 240sx, skyline....etc) so whatever the work, I would recomend this shop. small review I guess, I like this shop a lot so I thought I would promote it a little and give a bit of my opinion on it. hope this helps for anyone interested in it. feel free to ask me questions if you have some. |
