dont flame!!!! 300zx help

hey im having problems with my 300zx ( i know i know wrong forum, but i joined 300zxclub.com and i still cant post and its been like 4 months already *and yes i notified the mods*) but i thaught maybe you guys would know..

its a 1990 300zx 2+2
auto trans
non turbo

i did a tune up on the car and the car runs stronger than ever, but as i was putting the thing into park and i noticed that the idel when the car is at park spikes up to 2k? and when i 1st start the car its at a steady 1k (kinda high i know) but i cant seem to fighure out why its doing that? the indash trouble code light flashes 16 times.. help me out its my daily driver lol i need it in my life

well from the way it sounds..it could be in youre emissions..ivac..so on..try making sure all youre vac hoses are hooked up..youre idle air control valve could be unhooked and its open letting in alot of air making it idle higher.. my frind has a j30 with the same engine and that was his problem..let me know we can figure it out...

I had the same problem it was a vacuum switch. Its also controls the A/C idle.
