Engine Dead Wont Start.

sorry guys i'm quite in a hurry and decided not to search, (yes i know, what a effin' noob i am)

but yeah. i turn the key and no click, no cranking or anything. all the accesories in the car works.

but i just cant seem to start it.
any ideas

its a 95' 240sx SE

umm..... have you tried jump starting the car or checking alternator fuse? or checking the starter with 12 volts to see if it spins?

if all the interior lights work then it's probably the starter, or a wire going to the starter. Try whacking it with a wrench(seriously) while someone is holding the key in the start position. The starter internals can get gunked up and frozen. Also make sure both the wires going to the starter are in fact connected, and they're not broken anywhere. Good luck!

could be your battery doesnt have enough volts, happened to me before, i installed a new starter about a month ago and the car didnt start, everything worked inside the car lights, radio etc, but when i try to crank it, there was NOTHING, try using jumper cables or switch a battery out with your friends or something. > good luck.

you can pull your battery out and have it tested. same with the starter.
