Gram Lights distributor

Hey guys, just wondering if any of you know of a gram lights distributor in the Calgary/Redeer area (it's in Alberta, Canada). I don't know much about spacing and such, but what would be some good dimensions for a 17" rim on a '97 240? ie: width and offset

Thanks
K

17x9 is a rule of thumb that most guys go by on here

a few things to take into consideration are:
what is your suspension setup like?
how do you want the wheels to fit? very flush?
are you willing to modify the fenders to make them fit?
how do you like the tires to be? streched, fat, in between?

Well I have the stock wheels on right now, and they look sunken... I would like to have some that is fairly flush with the body of the car. The previous owner installed some TEIN springs which lowered the car about 3/4". Would it be ideal to run 17x9's on the front and back? Also, i don't know the difference between stretched/fat tires. Is that in reference to the sidewall? If so I would probably want something inbetween.

what style rims are you looking at?..that affects the available sizes (unless you go custom) and yes "fat/stretched" is in reference to the sidewall (simple way to put it).

agreed, 17x9 is a good choice, offset anywhere between +5 and +15 should be fine with rolled fenders running 215's.

then again, some on this board may disagree with the stretched deal

Check that out, I wouldn't worry about finding a local distributor, you can do better. Are you in Red Deer? I was kinda hoping I had the only s14 around here.

Well the ones I have been looking at are the 57c gun metal. I'm not really looking at rolling the fenders though... Don't want to [email protected] up the car yet! I just got it lol.

Thanks for the responses though, gives me a good place to start.

rolling fenders, if properly done, is invisible from the outside and does not "fuck up" your car.
