i bought a new battery and it wont gime any problems if i ose my car everyday but if i let it sit for 2 days my battery would die.

how can i tell i have a short
iwas thinking about myefans wiring
also when i turn off the car the light from ecu stay on ,is this normal?\
how can i tell my alternator is bad?

well the alternator is what keeps your car on and charges the battery so why not get the alternator tested ??? at an autozone. and what light the check engine light ????
