S13 RB20det build

I have been on zilvia for about a year but haven't really done much or really introduced myself.

Well here is my build that I have been working with for the past half a year!

Bought this car in january

Bought it none running with wiring and some other issues!

Got it running in about a couple days.

then for the longest time ever I have been trying to track down the sputtering issue to find out it was a cracked coil.

When I got the car it was covered in this nasty green stuff that I don't know what it was because it wasn't like paint, more like primer I guess. So underneath that nasty green was a very nice coat of beautiful black paint.

The body is not perfect but since I am going to be drifting this I am not to worried about the body just yet, that will come once all the engine and suspension stuff is out of the way!

Installed the safc II because I didn't have the rpm dohc cluster or an rmp guage and I also did not have the stock j60 maf so I thought I needed the safc. Sold the safc and planing to get either nistune or an eprom chip tune by Carl H.

Found some interior pieces at junk yards and forums got that installed.

And here are the pics of how I got her and what I have been doing with it!

Found a J60 Maf and installed that.
boost guage is installed
Seats are inn, Harness bar and seat-belt harnesses are in.

Installed the rear triangle strut bar.

Then installed the Wideband O2, the Diff, and Had some JIC Coilovers

YouTube - RB20 s13 first time drift Streetwise May 22nd. part 1

And then after a very long time I took it out which was last month to streatwise and gave it a little drifting action.

Didn't like my blown front shocks and that horrible understeer so I sold the jic coils and as of today waiting on my Megan Tracks, rear RUCA's and will be putting on some Sportmax 562's 17x9 in the back and some other unknown 17's in the front with an inch spacer.

As of now it is up on jack stands!

Should have pic's and the install of all this wonderful stuff this week.

Thats about it as of now.

Actually it was a pain and it still needs to get repainted but for now its shiny and black and that's totally fine with me! haha

Yesterday installed front spacers and now waiting on my coilovers that I bought from a zilvia member killab18
BTW great, guy and seller, amazing communication

Pic's that he sent me before he sent them off to me! Hopefully it will be here Friday Saturday.

Yesterday installed my coilovers and test fittet the rims!

Dropped the car off the jacks and its still JACKED UP literally way to high off the ground.

So I start lowering the front and well find out that the coil is seized up Coming home after work in hopes that I can get it loose!

Here are some pics of the way it is now!

Allright Yesterday got the coil done! Very sad about the way I had to fix this issue but that was the only way possible to do anything like that but ehh it is fine and actually better then before (because the coil will never get sized up now

So I Put it all on yesterday and took it for a ride! and it really isn't all that stiff for daily driving when its on the soft setting (I have never driven anything but lowered stiff cars haha!) So this is what it looks like now! BTW if anyone has a freezed up coil let me know I will help you out!

The car was fully jacked up and was standing on jack stands so I felt pretty safe haha.

But I do need alignment pretty bad!

Went drifting and well it was over heating all day, and at the end of the day when I was allready comming home it started running lean under full boost which gets me to thing that all my fuel filters and fuel sock need to get replaced.

What size and offset are those rims? The silver 5 spoke star ones, and also what size tires are you running front and back?

Edit: Front and back rim size too please.

Hey man, great build! I've been contemplating on picking up an RB20 for a while now myself. I'm interested in how you freed the seized coilover lol. A friend and I had the same problem on a set he picked up for dirt cheap, but he's yet to do anything with them yet cuz one is seized.
