296x30mm rotor help

i bought calipers from a 95gts-t a while ago and got all the other parts i needed for the install. i have most of the things on the car now and when i bolted my caliper on last night the rotor wasnt big enough. i had bought 300zx rotors for the s13 thinking all the non gtr calipers were just like the 300zx 30mm ones. aparently the ones i got were one of a few that ran the 296x30 rotor.

this is going on a 91240sx with 5lug

i was wondering if you guys know where i could find the correct rotors. I have searched and i have come up empty besides reading that DBA should have some but thats real $$$

also the rear rotors are the 300zx ones and they seem to fit fine with the gts-t caliper. thanks for the help. I know this is a topic that has been covered before but most of those posts are quite old and the links dont seem to work so i was hoping to get an updated thread about where to get the right rotors.

So you have the GT-R calipers which take 32mm thick rotors... your choices are going to be somewhat limited.

On the plus side you could try getting some evo rotors and trimming the outer diameter down a touch then use spacers to line the caliper up....

Dba is your only real option. OEM costs much more. Search on Amazon. They're going for cheap right now($150ish).

If you have non gtr calipers then you need 296x30mm rotors. Only the gtr non-brembos use a 32mm rotor.

i dont have the gtr calipers. i have the gts-t calipers

296x30mm is what i need. 32mm will not fit unless i sand the pad down. the caliper body has 34 mm a clearance but with the pads its 30.6mm (hawk pads)

im talking to dba to see what they have. thanks for the input though

for other with the same problem. The correct front rotor from DBA is the 963 series. 4963s 4963xs will work.

the rear part number is the same as the 300zx part number and that is the 908 series
