re-mfg power steering racks - S14 - know any good sources?

Just looking for some helpful advice. Who did you get it from, stumble across any good sources? The rack in my S14 has been leaking for some time and I'm assuming its from running PS fluid instead of ATF. Either the case, it's surely the original and I'm tired of cleaning the underside of the car.

I've run across a couple online stores and found nothing special local, so I thought I'd ask before I just picked one.

What would be nice is if I could purchase a refurbished unit without the inner tie rods and boots. I've got Tein inners and would need to remove these OEM ones before installation anyways.

I run a shop outside Chicago and we have used a local re-builder as well as off the shelf racks from Advance Auto. Both worked out fine. As far as inner / outer tie rods, most will include inners, some rarely the outers. I run either OEM, MOOG, or certain aftermarket brands. Personally when I installed a pair of TEIN inner and outer tie rods I was not very impressed. The overall build quality on them wasn't anything better then a MOOG unit, especially considering the price difference.

A TEIN inner runs around 90-100$ per one. When I can pick up MOOGs with lifetime warranty for $50

A1 Cardone is the brand you will typically find at local auto parts stores.

I appreciate the words guys. It's looking as though that's really the best direction for other research too. As for the tie rods, I bought my Tein units 4 - 5 years ago when I was thinking about an intake for the KA. It seems now with my up and coming FLCA modifications, I won't be able to use them any ways...

man I've got so much to do...
