Apparently the Z was parked sideways, taking up two spots. Nobody except the Altima driver has any idea why they wanted the parking space so bad, but the Altima hit the Z at 30-35 mph. That hit pushed the Z's right wheels against the curb, wedging it between the curb and Altima, and because of that the Z popped up and the Altima ran underneath it, throwing the Z off to the side as it's sitting in the pictures. We're not sure why only one side airbag went off, because in a typical crash all the bags go off at once, no matter where the hit occurs. John thinks that the A pillar was impacted and somehow that force set the airbag off.

I'm sure all of you think that's highly unlikely, and it's made even harder to believe by the fact that we can't see the driver's side damage of the Z in these pictures. Believe what you want, but this is not a case of an idiot driver. This is a case of the other driver being the idiot and taking out a rare car. The owner simply didn't want any chance of anyone banging their door on his car, and this is what he got in return.

EDIT: Upon further examination I've noticed the tree behind the Z is pushed backward. That's evidence enough to burst your flying-over-the-curb bubble. You all should be ashamed. Have some sympathy for a fellow enthusiast. That is, if you are actually car enthusiasts.

Your young. It'll happen. It happens to the best. That's why it's called and "accident".

If the above story is true, the Altima person should be shot.

Serves them right.
You're not special because you have a nicer car then me or anyone else. If you really want to make sure that it doesn't get scratched, park all the way in the back where there are no cars and walk your fat ass to where you need go.

I too hate douches that double park like that.
I also hate parking lots that have tiny ass parking spaces.
Maybe the lot was really packed and the Altima driver got really pissed?
Still, no excuse to do that. 30-40mph in a lot is also excessive.
Wonder what the Altima driver had to say about all this?

It looks like the Z was parked all the way in the back.. pics were taken from a road? So he obviously did make every effort to get out of regular parking persons ways, lol.

As for the retard who decided to ram the car,

I used to park like that. When I was younger, dumber, and had a nice car. But like you said I'd do it at the END of a parking lot. Like waaaaay away from everyone so I didn't piss people off. However once I did this, and when I came out of the movie a Ford Ranger was parked SMASHED up against my fuckin car. So I called the cops. Cop came and was like WTF? He told me because it was a private parking lot there are NO LAWS against taking up multiple parking spaces. We waited there for a while and finally the person who's car it was came out. It was a punk ass kid and his friend with his moms car. He said, he didn't know he hit me. Yea right. If that's the case he needed to have his license revoked ASAP. Anyway, the cop talked to the kids mom and then I talked to her. She didn't want to get the insurance involved so she agreed to pay for the damages. I ended up going out to a guy she knew who owned a body shop and was cool as hell and he actually fixed in like 5 min (since it was a poly bumper).

Moral of the story, just cause someone parks like a dick, doesn't give you the right to smash into their car on purpose.

That and I'm glad I'm older now.

Any parking lot that is not government owned (police station, court house, etc) is private. Target's, a movie theater, etc are considered private lots. Anything like that.

That's hilarious. Racer98 starts two threads mocking people, and soon he'll get owned on both.

How bout you just stfu and mind ur own business from now on instead of looking for shit to laugh at? You're better at being the subject than finding them.

How bout you just stfu and mind ur own business from now on instead of looking for shit to laugh at? You're better at being the subject than finding them.
I have a simpathy kitty for you, he like you a lot.

The link leads to a forum that I refuse to register on (at work now and no access to personal e-mail). I need more sources or info on this story to make it viable.

I just wonder what was going through the Altima owner's mind if this is really the case. Why double park on holiday shopping season? That is just asking for trouble.

Yeah, I would have to agree on that one. Now that more info is comming to light of this Nismo 350Z. Now as far as the matter is concernd, as others have mentioned that no asshatery was in the process but more of the case of Holiday Mall rage looks and seems to be the matter as what others have implied, none the less does not give any one the right to use their vehicle as a weapon, Sure its just 2 cars cracked up but what if the rage of one driver takes the life of a child that had nothing to do with the matter. Sorry, to regards of the owner of the 350z, still taking up 2 parking spots in a Holiday mall enviroment is not a good thing to do. just after seening the replys from this, makes you really think before you take the exotic to the local mall and park it. Best to take the daily driver or beater to the mall and let people side swipe , hit or ram it etc. I cant tell you how many times I have been hit in truck , just got to the point I would not care any more.
