Opinions needed (sr20)

Hey guys im new to the site and was just wondering if i can get a few opinions on my future setup. I am planning on running an sr20 redtop, gt35r (peak boost mani), FMIC, koyo rad, 550cc injectors, FPR,warlboro 255, PFC, 3' Apexi catback exhaust. I was just curious as to if there is any major problems i may run in to with this setup. Im looking to run about 15 psi on a street tune. Any input would be appreciated. thanks

I mean we could tell you that there is potential to run into any problems once you modify an engine from it's stock form. What engine management are you running, who's going to tune it, do you plan on replacing all gaskets and seals on the engine before you decide to dramatically increase the amt of power it's going to produce?

There are so many little things that you don't even think about when putting together a wish list like this.

So far in the past month, and I can provide reciepts... I have purchased at least 450 dollars in replacement parts, or preventative measure items for my sr20 and it's been a month or two since i've had it and have yet to drive my car yet.

Alright, thanks I was unsure wether 550cc injectors would suffice. I will defiently be going with 740cc injectors.
The thing is I am not 100% sure on what sort of hp bracket I will be in with that setup pushing 15lbs boost tuned with power fc. Anyone from past experience kind of got an idea of the numbers I'd be looking at?

I too am wondering about your method of tuning, and who your going to have tune it? Does PFC mean power fc? I would go with larger injectors.
Dont forget a wideband and I tend to like knock lights too.

Yes, sorry i should have cleared that up earlier. My method of tuning will be via a Power FC (PFC) and i have a wideband to ensure i am running with proper air fuel ratios. Also, i have a friend who is capable of tuning with the power fc and said he would do it for me.

Tell me about it bro, My SR swap was supposed to be done in June....Laff its been in the shop since August and Its still not complete....I didn't consider all the replacement parts, and basic upgrades thats recommended....And really your should take into account that first which adds up to alot, Before even modding...

well, well, according to what you have, not only bigger INJ you will need ,, you may want bigger fuel pump, and adj fuel pressure regulator, greddy intake,or similar,As far powerband at 15 psi, from my personal guess,, it will be somewhere from close to 400 HP,, but it will be supper laggY if run on 2.0 SR, full boost will be @5300-5500 rpm , reason i said that because i have similar set up but i have gt3076 ,, @11 psi i made 388 and @17 psi i'm at 456hp

Z-maf, if you dont plan on running D-jetro PFC. Also, some Tomei Pro-cams to help move the power band a bit to make up for the turbo lag.
